2 Shabd Personality Certificate and Traits
At 2 Shabd, we believe that a student's capabilities extend beyond academic performance.
Our College Team Challenges are designed to create situations where students can demonstrate how they actually work with others, respond to challenges, take responsibility, communicate, and learn from experience.
2 Shabd team cross-verifies the peer reviews collected during these challenges to the team's submitted video proof. If the peer reviews and video details match, students may be recognized for one of the following 8 personality traits.
These are the definitions that 2 Shabd uses to identify and certify these traits.
1. Leadership
The ability to take responsibility for a shared objective, provide direction, and mobilize others toward achieving it. It is demonstrated through initiative, accountability, and the ability to guide a group when action or direction is needed.

How 2 Shabd Certificates Are Earned
Participation in a 2 Shabd College Team Challenge does not automatically result in a certificate.
During the challenge, students work together in situations that allow their teammates to observe their behavior. After the challenge, peer reviews and other assessment evidence are evaluated to identify demonstrated strengths.
A student may demonstrate one or multiple traits during a challenge.
The certificate awarded represents a trait for which there is sufficient evidence of demonstrated behavior—not simply a student's self-assessment or academic performance.
The 8 possible certificates
Leadership · Collaboration · Problem Solving · Communication · Conscientiousness · Adaptability · Curiosity · Confidence
At 2 Shabd, the objective is not simply to tell students what their strengths are.
It is to give them opportunities to demonstrate those strengths in real situations, receive feedback from the people they worked with, and build a record of their behavioral development over time.
